You would be forgiven for thinking that the object of your desire has been run over by a bus or dropped his cell phone in the pool when you don’t hear from him after what you thought was a successful date. I mean, let’s face it, you were your charming self, looked like a million bucks and wore that expensive perfume you saved for so long to get. And all the other guys in the room were starring at you. So what’s happened to your man? The one whom you thought would walk you down the aisle?

Men might not come right out and say they aren’t interested in you. After all, if he runs out of options he might just call you for some late night nookie, right? Or he doesn’t want you to think badly of him. He’d prefer you to tell all your girlfriends what a great guy he is. How do you know when he’s not interested and if he genuinely just simply lost his phone with your number on it? Girls get this: if he was interested in you, trust me, you would have heard from him already. If he did lose his phone with your number on it, he would have made a plan to track you down. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! Modern thinkers believe that women shouldn’t hang around waiting for a guy to call them. They suggest you pick up the damn phone and call the guy yourself. Here’s why that doesn’t work:

• Men don’t like to be pressurized into dating. They enjoy being the ones to choose who they date.

• Men are intimidated by women who come on too strong. They’re afraid you will rob them of all their masculinity.

• Men enjoy the chase. Women who make themselves available too easily lose their mystery and attraction.

• While a guy might want to hop into bed with a woman who comes on so strongly, they won’t necessarily want to date you or have a relationship with you. Don’t believe me? Give it a try. Make that call, set up that first date and watch how he tries to get you into his bed.

• When you make yourself too available a guy wonders what you have going on in your life. He wonders if you are desperate and why you aren’t going on other dates. A red flag goes up and he treads with caution.

• A guy is a lot more interested in a woman who isn’t that interested in him! Have you watched a Rom-Com lately? Notice how the girl was never interested in the guy to begin with and how he won her over? Guys love to win women over with their charm. Don’t rob him of that opportunity.

So what should you do if he doesn’t call by the third day? Simple. Lose his number! Don’t fret, don’t obsess. Just delete his number off your phone. If he should call again after a week or so, try really hard to forget the date or where you met him and make him work hard to help you remember. And whatever you do, don’t make yourself easily available for a 2nd date after not hearing from him for a week! Does this sound like game-playing? Maybe, but if you’re like most girls who find a guy they’re finally attracted to, you’ll want to dive in with gusto and tie him down.

Restrain yourselves, ladies. I know how tempting that may be. But holding back and being reserved will ultimately work in your favor. Just try it. Next time you meet a nice guy, hold back, be a little reserved and watch how he’ll try to win you over.

Ilang gabay, alituntunin, at halimbawa:

Wala masyado—magkamag-anak  nga sila, in fact.

“Things that are pure within themselves evoke pleasure, thus beauty,” ika nga ni Socrates.

“Good nature will always supply the absence of beauty; but beauty cannot supply the absence of good nature,”ika nga ng Briton na si Joseph Addison.

Goooow!”

Total Lunar Eclipse

I can say that I am one of the luckiest people who were able to witnessed the magnificent Total Lunar Eclipse. It occured earlier, June 16, 2011 from 3:30am to 5:10am. Indeed, it's the LONGEST TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE since 2000. That's why I salute these people, including myself of course, who ignored the call of bed, the bad company of mosquitoes, the so-called beauty rest, and the required 8 hours of sleep, just to witness this event.

The moon passed directly through the center of the Earth's shadow cone and this event also hasn't happened in 11 years and won't happen again until 2018.

I'm lucky to see it for the first time and it's really worth the wait :)

Max's Chicken All You Can

Max
All I can say is that...IT'S BACK!!! Max's restaurants opened its door, on June 10, 2011, to chicken-hungry customers for the Max's Chicken All You Can.

And again, I'M UP FOR THE CHALLENGE!--- TO EAT LIKE A MAN (with poise) :) hahaha!

Who wants to take the challenge? Just give me a buzz :)

Ang Maling Gamit ng Sampayan

I was watching TV Patrol last night and I heard the depressing story about a puppy, named Whitney.

The Facebook user Jerzon Senador uploaded photos of what seemed like a newly washed stuffed toy pinnned to a clothesline and hanging out to dry. But it was actually a real live puppy.

Whitey
Some of those who saw the photos were indignant. Some created a number of like page in Facebook, some even searched Jerzon's personal Facebook account and added him. I just can't understand why Jerzon keep on accepting those friend requests wherein most of these people are only flooding his wall with trash talks, P.I, and abusive words condemning his acts.

Isampay

Jerzon2

Despite negative comments, Senador was unapologetic, saying "hahaha,..winashing k p nga yan weh..." and "Hahaha, hnd ako makukulong noh..remember senador toh! aquh ng pa2pad ng Animal cruelty at kya kong bawiin yun!! ahahahaha."

Following pressure from netizens, Jerzon has since apologized via his own Facebook wall, saying "To All Animal Lovers and to all over the world, please read this:

“Gusto ko humingi ng tawad sa nagawa kong kasalanan sa aking alagang aso.. Sana mapatawad nyo ako at pinapangako ko na hindi na mauulit…"

The apology was accepted by some, but found lacking by others.

In my opinion...

I am really against with what Jerzon did to his poor puppy. I was raised in the family who really loves and cares for the welfare of animals. My mom loves dogs. When I was a 7 year old kid, my father gave me the most precious present and it was a cute, white, puppy that was named Saddam. That puppy gave me the first heartbreak when he died. We also took care of a rabbit, named Bunny, whose fur is similar to Bugs Bunny. He died old but we continued to raised rabbits and named them Bunny II to Bunny III. Right now, our house have been an orphanage for cats.

Jerzon's wrongdoing wasn't really "COOL" and won't ever suffice his or anyone's boredom!

I believe this is your KARMA. Jerzon is now an instant celebrity. His acts were already broadcasted on National TV and even on CNN. He is one of the trending topic in Twitter. And now, he has to deal with the controversy he made at his early age, the critiscms being thrown at him, and PAWS legal actions.

Tt

Everyone has a CHOICE. Kaya kung ano mang pinagdadaanan natin sa ngayon, masaya man o malungkot, masakit man o masarap, stressful man o hindi, masama man o mabuti, katangahan man o hindi, boring man o enjoy, cool man o nakakainis...wala tayong dapat sisihin o pasalamatan kungdi yung sarili natin dahil pinili natin yung CHOICE na yun eh :)

Hangover with Bradley Cooper

Bradley_cooper

Okay, let's go straight to the point. I LOVE BRADLEY COOPER. He is one of the finest men in Hollywood, next to Sean Farris (Never Back Down). They're HOT.

I tuned in to Star Movies earlier and found myself staring at him again while watching the movie "All About Steve" , along with Sandra Bullock. His eyes are seducing, his smile and his lips are sexy, and lastly, his skin tone makes him look hot.

Moreover, Hangover 2, starring ofcourse him, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha  will be on screen this June 2011. I will surely watch it and prepare to laugh again as I follow their gross out adventure in Thailand!

The Wolfpack is in fact back!

WARNING: The Put Down Lines (Not intended for use)

Suppose you're a hard working career woman. The only problem you have with life is that God has endowed you with exceptional beauty that matches your brains? There's no doubt anq question about your ability to do your work but how do you deal with men who don't respect you as a competent career person, but would make it their lifetime to make a pass with you?

I'm not an expert in this but I did get an interesting and funny material from the internet that seems to address this issue.

Here are some pick up lines countered by put down lines. I don't suggest you do any of them because it might get you into trouble. :)

Good-pick-up-lines-for-girls-300x300

Man says: Haven't I seen you someplace before?

Woman says: Yes, that's why I don't go there anymore.

Man asks: Is this seat empty?

Woman replies: Yes, and this one will be if you sit down.

Man coyly asks: Your place or mine?

Woman charmingly replied: Both. You go to yours, and i'll go to mine.

Man casually says: So, what do you do for living?

Woman answers: I'm a female impersonator.

Man tries to be smart and asks: Hey baby, what's your sign? (expecting a cancer or capricorn)

Woman answers: My sign says: "Do not enter."

Man flatters by saying: Your body is like a temple.

Woman says: Sorry, there are no services today.

Man says: I would go to the end of the world for you.

Woman asks this time: But would you stay there?

Again, listen to my warning. This material is not intended for use because once you do, you might just get yourself deeper into trouble. :)

Here I am Again

" Sometimes, no matter how much faith we have, we lose people. But you never forget them. And sometimes, it's those memories that give us the faith to go on."

Longing

Here I am again
Trying to take my chance
I'm longing for your touch
Longing for your warm embrace
Oh how, I miss you baby

Here I am again
Tyring to say the words
I failed to say before
I wished I've said it all to you
Oh how, I love you baby

Your the only one
Who can make my life complete, oh baby

Your love is all I need
Your the only one
Who can bring a smile to me
The only one that I, wanna be with...

Here I am again
Waiting for the touch
When you will say the words
That made us both become one
Oh how, I long for your love

Here I am again
Trying to say the words
I failed to say before
Oh how, I love you

The Greatest Challenge: CHANGING YOURSELF

"No one is in control of your happiness but you; therefore, you have the power to change anything about yourself or your life that you want to change." - Barbara de Angelis

Change_ahead

I finally found the only answer to all questions that I have been asking God...CHANGE is indeed the answer. I don't know how to start but I believe that sooner or later, I will be the person who has changed emotionally and maturely.

I CAN BE THE CHANGE I WANT TO BE :)

Loving Yourself

We spend so much time waiting to be loved, hoping love will find us, searching, yearning for that special love. Feeling empty and lost without it. Wanting someone to give us love and fill us up. Unfortunately, that’s not usually how life works. Loving yourself is mainly having self-respect which is the only dependable way to create love in your own life to share with others. When you expect love from an external source, and someone or something does not fulfill your void and fantasies, then you will feel worse than before. To be able to be loved, you must love and respect yourself as much as you do others.

Here are some of the guides in loving your YOU:

Love_yourself-763860
1.   The way you see yourself and treat yourself is the very way others will see yo u and treat you. Do you see yourself as valuable and worthy of the gift of love? Do you treat yourself lovingly and as a valuable being (respectfully)?

2. Treat others with love and respect. That's the first step to feeling better about yourself. It’s great to be truthful with yourself, though it may not be pretty! Awareness is the first and more powerful step on the path to change! Others have done it: you can do it. Change for the better...

3. Create goodwill and thankfulness by random deeds of kindness by sharing your being with others. Most importantly share your knowledge in nice ways, where it is wanted and needed, not just anywhere. Write letters to the editor, if that fits your circumstance, or write an article, if you have a topic. Show your ideals, time -- or things you use, a small donation to a needy elderly person or to an unfortunate child.

4. Share opportunities for your potential happiness by sharing goals and accomplishments with a special person or a group doing something worthwhile. Help a candidate or a political cause or a community project. Help at a school or church. Gradually you can start feeling your worth through the smiles of gratitude, and seeing it with your own eyes, and you can start loving this new you. Initially, you may feel that other people might take advantage of your new outgoing ways, but after a month or two of practice, you will see a nice change in yourself.

5. Forgive yourself if you ever believe you aren't worthy of love. After all, there were probably things in your childhood or more recent years that created that belief for you which is not true; every being on this planet is worthy of love. Say to yourself now: “I forgive myself for believing that I was not worthy of love.” Go look in a mirror and say it out loud to yourself, look yourself right in the eyes and speak forgiveness like you mean it.

6. Post this positive affirmation up someplace where you will see it each and every day; "I have the courage to believe that I am worthy of love." Read it out loud, every day, at least once, ideally at least ten times each time you notice it. Sticky notes are fabulous for affirmations.

7. Learn to let go of past events. You deserve a fresh beginning! There are a lot of people out there that have had hard lives/bad beginnings or moments. A lot of people close up on themselves out of grief, disappointments or fears of future ridicule -- and have a hard time opening back up. It is important to let go of all the pain that is still inside of you from that bad experience. This is often the hardest part of the journey, but once you've done it, you can benefit from it.

8. Think about what you really want -- your self-actualization. Try to look past "material" objects and feelings: We all want a nice house, nice things, someone to share our life with. Look past all that and find your true wants objectively. Do you crave power, a religion or simply a motive? Sometimes the truth hurts, but figuring out what you really want will help you know yourself better and hopefully aid in answering important questions you often ask yourself.

9. Keep a journal. Write about your experiences, good and bad. When you write down good experiences, allow yourself to feel those feelings. When you remember bad experiences, allow yourself to feel self-compassion. Compassion is not self-pity, but rather willingness to be present/accept with one's own pain and regret. Most people experienced chronic emotional invalidation growing up; adults shouldn't expect others to be validating, and need to learn how to validate themselves. Compassion allows us to be present with our pain so it can acknowledged and let go.

10. Work as steadily as you can at loving and accepting yourself just as you are right now. A large part of love is accepting another "as is" -- allowing them to be themselves, and having a level of detachment to let people have their feelings and behaviors without our interference. 'Detachment' (suspending judgment) might sound cold and unfeeling, but accepting people just as they are might be the most loving thing one can do for oneself and for others. After we've accepted ourselves, we might think about changing some less-desirable characteristics. However, we cannot change other people. This is impossible, and trying will only drive everyone crazy.

11. Get started (if not now -- when?) working toward how and what you want to be: Choose to express the happier you that you can love. Be enthusiastic and cheerful (appropriately). "Joyfulness is a decision!"

Relax: Tell your face, "Smile!" Smiling makes you feel better and other people to feel better -- toward you, your ideas and ideals (opposite of negativity).

"You become what you think about, act upon and do."
"What you do forms your character."

The Epic Drink: Antonov Vodka Apple

Last night, we went to Obeertime at Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati. I usually order Tanduay Ice or Vodka Ice as my drink but unfortunately, they don't offer those. I ordered Antonov Vodka Applefor only Php 35.00  and it was the first time I got to taste this drink. Surprisingly, I ended with 6 bottles last night before admitting to myself that I am drunk! Oh yes, last night was the DRUNKEST MOMENT in MY LIFE!! And as review, Antonov Vodka Apple tastes good and it knocks you down in the bathroom. :)

Would you lay with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel

Those three words
Are said too much
they're not enough

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life

All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see

I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all

If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

People Come into your Life for a Reason

22579_284335892698_574387698_3280535_1750855_n

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.

Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind
but friendship is clairvoyant .

Thank you for being a part of my life,
whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

500 Days of Summer! Ayyyyiiiie!!!

I'm excited. I can't wait to watch this movie again, tomorrow, 9:00 PM on Star Movies. Obviously, 500 Days of Summer is one of my most favorite romantic movie, second to A Walk to Remember by Adam Shankman. Here's why:

1. I can relate (both to Tom and Summer). I have the same belief as what Tom has and but I stand to Summer's reasoning about relationship. Oh yes, I'm complicated.

2. I love the kilig factor. I love to feel it over and over again.

3. And lastly, these lines... :)

-------------------------------------

McKenzie: [drunk] So do you have a boyfriend?

Summer: No.

McKenzie: Why not?

Summer: Because I don’t want one.

McKenzie: Come on; I don’t believe that.

Summer: You don’t believe that a woman could enjoy being free and independent?

McKenzie: Are you a lesbian?

Summer: [laughing] No I’m not a lesbian. I just, don’t feel comfortable being anyone’s girlfriend. I don’t actually feel comfortable being anyone’s anything.

McKenzie: I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Summer: Really?

McKenzie: Nope.

Summer: Ok, let me break it down for you–

McKenzie: Break it down!

Summer: Ok. I, like being on my own. I think relationships are messy and people’s feelings get hurt. Who needs it? We’re young, we live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world; might as well have fun while we can and, save the serious stuff for later.

McKenzie: You’re a dude. [to Tom] She’s a dude!

Tom: Ok but wait–wait. What happens, if you fall in love?

[she scoffs]

Tom: What?

Summer: You don’t believe that, do you?

Tom: It’s love, it’s not Santa Claus.

------------------------------------------------------

That's it! Can't wait myself to get kilig na naman :)

Seriously, Writing has never been part of my Interest.

Write-short-story-800x800

I don't know why I am blogging or writing some stuff. Others might find it nonsense, and I do sometimes.

I don't know why I'm writing...my writing skills are not as good compared to others.

I don't know why I'm writing...I'm afraid that sometimes, I might have written some words or sentences erroneously.

I don't know why I'm writing, I even don't care if I placed my commas, periods, or if I used exclamation points, appropriately.

I don't know why I'm writing...I guess I Am a frustrated writter.

But,

I am writing because...

    I want to be a good writter/copy-writter.

I want to develop more of my writing skills.

I want to have a proof of my experiences and learnings in life.

I chose to write  because...

I would like to always express my feelings through writings rather than saying it.

I can express the best of me through writing.

I guess these are enough reasons why I should continue writing.

Act Like a Lady, think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment

I'm sure that if woman laid out the rules- requirements- early on, and let her intended know that he could either rise up to those requirements, or just move on. A directive like that signals to a man that you are not a plaything-someone to be used and discarded. It tells him that what you have- your benefits- are special, and that you need time to get to know him and his ways to decide if he DESERVES them.

The man who is willing to put in the time and meet the requirements is the one you want to stick around, because that guy is making a conscious decision that he, too, has no interest in playing games and will do what it takes to not only stay on the job, but also get promoted and be the proud beneficiary of your benefits. And you, in the meantime, win the ultimate prize of maintaining your dignity and self-esteem, and earning the respect of the man who recognized that you were worth the wait.

I Wish I Was Her by Amy Pearson

Always knew that when we said goodbye,
It wouldn't last forever,
Always thought that I'd run into you,
And we'd get back together...
Now you're here just like I imagined,
But never once did it cross my mind that you could move on...

You've found someone,
It breaks my heart,
Cos you're so inlove...

I wish that my touch made you smile just like that,
And I wish that I had you the way that she has.
Cos I still remember the love I left behind,
Oh I wish I was her and you wre mine.

I think somebody's tryna talk to me,
But I can't hear a word they're sayin,
All I can do is stare at you,

I don't even know why I'm stayin.
Nev er thought I'd cry to see you happy,
Its just I thought that your happiness was right here with me.

I know we're through,
Its no use,
Still I can't help but feel...

The way that you hold her I wish that was m e,
There's no place on earth that I'd rather be.
Cos I still remember the love I left behind,
Oh I wish I was her and you were mine.

I used to be right beside you.
Now I'm not even kept inside your heart.
I put our love up on a shelf,
But now its gone cos you belong to someone else...

Ready to Love Again

Seems like I was walking in the wrong direction.
I barely recognize my own reflection
Scared of love but scared of life alone
Seems I've been playing on the safe side, baby
Building walls around my heart to save me, oh
But it's time for me to let it go

Yeah, I'm ready to feel now
No longer am I afraid of the fall down
It must be time to move on now
Without the fear of how it might end
I guess I'm ready to love again

Just when we think that love will never find you
You runaway but still it's right behind you, oh
It's just something that you can't control

Yeah, I'm ready to feel now
No longer am I afraid of the fall down
It must be time to move on now
Without the fear of how it might end
I guess I'm ready to love again

So come and find me
I'll be waiting up for you
I'll be holding out for you tonight
Yeah, I'm ready to feel now
No longer am I afraid of the fall down
It must be time to move on now
Without the fear of how it might end
I guess I'm ready, I'm ready to love again

My Only Prayer

"God I know I'm going to see you soon. And we'll have some nice conversations. But meanwhile, God, if you're gonna take me, take me already. And if you're gonna leave me here...maybe give me strength to do what should be done. "

- Have A Little Faith by Mitch Albom
